Maybe I am old fashioned, but do others think manyengagement pictures taken today tend to look more like a modeling shoot or perfume ad than pictures of just a regular couple? Is this because it is what the couple is looking for or is does it have more to do with the photographers stlye?
I honestly like that it kind of looks like a modeling shoot...how many times do you get to do something out of the box like that?
It's totally up to you. My e-pics were taken in studio. There are pics in my album if you want to look.
it's up to the couple what type of engagement pic they want. for me, i want the photojournalistic shot as opposed to studio/posed shots because it shows more of our emotions

It depends on what the couple is looking for and the photographer's style. I like that its not your ordinary photo shoot... but more over, I love that someone can capture the couple together. FH and I often travel alone, so its just the two of us and we don't have many great pictures together.
I loved doing our e-pics because we'll never do anything like that ever again! We like the photogs style, which is photojournalistic, and that is why we booked them! Some are uploaded into an album here!

I had a little bit of both...some 'steamy magazine adds' if you will & some posed regular old pics..all done in the studio. I think it is just a matter of preference. I wanted that magazine ad type I think they're so awesome. So many people that I showed them too were expecting them to be the regular kind & loved the different style some were.
