I DON'T HAVE A HOUSE YET AND I DON'T HAVE RENTERS INSURANCE...HOW CAN I GET INSURANCE ON MY RINGS? DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH IT USUALLY IS?

I have my ring insured under my parents home insurance. I still live at home. It is about $500 a yr.

I use state farm for my car but they are insuring my ring for me too,

I use state farm too for my car, my agent said I can put my ring on personal property insurance...its different than home owners and rental insurance

We also use Jewelers Mutual.
You need to have an appraisal and the cost will depend on how much your ring is worth. Our policy is under $500 a year -- but we didn't add the wedding ring to it.

It is depending on the carat size of your ring, that is what my insurance company did. All you need is the Apprasial and you don 't have to have Homeowner's insurance. You can put it on a separate policy. That is what I did because I don't have a house either.

My parents did it through their homeowners insurance. They got a rider that covers my ring in case it's lost or stolen regardless of where it is...
