Re: Engagement Ring Insurance?
Get a seperate policy with any insurance company. DO NOT get it with homeowners or renters. My friend is a broker at State Farm and the only thing that covers everything is it's own policy - The other policies will NOT cover everything. Any broker will explain the details. Get 3 apprasals and take the highest one to the insurance company. It is not expensive at all.
Good Luck!!

Re: Engagement Ring Insurance?
So when I asked about this I was told I could just add it to my renters insurance. But upon looking into it jewlery is only covered up to $1,000. Since my ring is worth 10x that amount I need to find more coverage but I am concerned about the price of that. If anyone has infomation on approx how much that will cost can you FM me. Also what companies are good to insure through. Thanks!

Re: Engagement Ring Insurance?
Becareful to check your policies every homeowners I have checked out only covers jewlery up to $1000 and does not cover if something happens while you are not in your house ex. when you are traveling and your ring gets lost/stolen. Renters insurance covers even less... only $500 for all of your jewlery.
