We ended up picking it out together..we had set the wedding date before i got the ring and on our way upstate we stopped off at a mall in albany and i kept trying to tel FH that he doesnt need to spend thousands to get me a nice ring since we already have a child and a house it wasnt possible so we stopped at the jeweler and i picked one out and hes like you want it and i said yea and that was it but he didnt give it to me until he properly proposed two days later.....alittle backwards i know!

LOL well aside from the obvious picture on the fridge, email to his mother and sister of what I liked he did it all on his own! ![]()

I originally started dropping hints and made sure everyone knew what I wanted. then he asked for a picture, but I couldn't find an exact one. Finally, we went to a jeweler together and I picked out the diamond and designed the setting I wanted. All FH had to do was pay for it! LOL Otherwise, he wouldn't have had a clue!

I told him I wanted it on white gold and a princess cut.. only one. he ended up getting a diamond on each side.. very small and I love it! Im glad he picked it.. I thnk it makes it more special!

We looked at rings together, and I showed him what I liked. Luckily we have the same tastes LOL I really wanted a heart shaped stone but this looks just wonderful!! It was more than I thought it would be, and it's great!
