we were together for almost 3 years before he proposed.

and yes, we talked about it often. he picked the stone, I picked the setting the very next day

I've been with my boyfriend for 7 years...its going to be 8 in November...I still havent received my official proposal or my ring, but I did pick one out...and we have set a date and we're going to look at halls this weekend...how backwards is that?! LOL...Unfortunately these days, especially when couples live together before they're married thats how things turn out sometimes...

Yea def....we went on vacation in June and I thought he was going to do it then....after that I thought it was going to be our 4 yr anniversary...turned out he did it the week before thanksgiving so we could show it off for the holidays.
