Does anyone have a Tiffany's Engagement Ring? They are covered for life and they will polish anytime as often as you need.... I'm just curious how often people get theirs cleaned and polished....Thanks!

My e-ring was my great-grandmothers. Do you think most jewelers will clean mine? I know tiffanys won't touch anything that isn't theirs. Anyone reccommend a good jeweler in the Massapequa area?

all i can say is that make sure that whomever you give it to to clean, make sure they do it in front of you. there have been stories how jewelers swicth out the diamonds

Re: Engagement Rings
My FH designed my engagement ring with a jeweler on Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa (Busy Bee Jeweler). FH swears up and down by this guy and won't even consider going anywhere else for his wedding band. Try there to get your ring cleaned!

My ering was my fiance grandmothers ... I go to Argyle jewelers in Babylon and the clean and polish it for me anytime. Most places will do that for you. I do get nervous becasue i don't trust some places so I only go to Argyle becasue I have gotten other jewelry there before and I know they are trustworthy.

Re: Engagement Rings
My jeweler told me I can clean my own ring by letting it sit in 3 parts water/1 part ammonia overnight, and then brushing it with a toothbrush in the morning and rinse it with warm water.

Vodka, i would be sucking my finger the whole night LOL.
My FH got my ring made by a guy his brother deals with in the Bx. He will clean it whenever i want.
Unfortunatly i don't wear it a lot (work reasons) so i havent needed a cleaning yet.

Good Old Gold in the David's Bridal (used to be tower records) shopping center). That is where FH got my ring and we have not had any issues.

Re: Engagement Rings
Whenever I am around a jewelry store I just ask them to clean it for me...I pretend I'm looking at something and they clean it and then I say thanks and leave
