Engagement Session

Hi Girls! I have my engagement session on my mind, as I would like to book it anywhere from April-June. I am torn between beach, city or garden like setting! I know my FH will not be comfortable in times square (he isnt in too being too public taking the pictures). Central Park is gorgeous but, I dont know what I want! Where did you guys take them? I am looking into Old Westbury Gardens any input?

Old Westbury Gardens is beautiful! I just wasn't a fan of the site fee. I believe it was $250 for an hour? I took mine at Baiting Hollow Farm & Vineyard. I'm in love with my e-pics and the place also let us take some pics with a horse! (FH and I aren't really city people lol). I've some pics in Argyle Park and loved those too.

We're trying to figure out where to do ours as well. We are planning on taking wedding pictures in Port Jeff so we're looking for something completely opposite of that. It gives us two sets of pictures in completely different settings.

Old Westbury Gardens was where FH & I wanted to take pics but there is a charge so we ended up at Argyle Park in Babylon and it was beautiful!!! Check it out.

We're going to start by taking ours at our apartment so we can get our bulldog in some shots. Then well walk over to DUMBO and the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The skyline backdrop gives you that city feel without actually being in the city or Central Park.

Engagement Session

We're doing Montauk and out east. Its where we had our first date and where he proposed. Its a typical long island thing to do I know... but its meaningful to us and honestly...at the rate mother nature is going... I'd like to have a little piece of it with me always before it gets washed away!

I am on planning the same area for my engagement pics! When are you having your session? I am thinking late April or sometime in May - hopefully weather cooperates!

We're actually doing the end of April too! FH can't stand the heat, so we have to do it before it gets too warm.

Engagement Session

Starting to figure this out for myself! We are thinking somewhere on the North Shore area... hopefully with the Throgs Neck Bridge in the background. He is from CT and I am from NY, so it is the bridge that allowed us to see each other :) Not sure exactly where yet, but looking into parks in that area!

Engagement Session

Pinterest helped me out a lot. It has became one of my go to web sites since I have gotten engaged. I will be doing my engagement shoot in june. Here are my top three places that we are planning on...Grand central station, highland park, and the NYC library at Bryant Park. I hope this help, we also do live in NYC.

I love Pinterest also! I'm addicted to that site; it has great ideas for your wedding planning. My fiancé and I are taking our engagement pictures in the city. He lived there for over a year so it has meaning to him. And I personally love the city! If city isn't your thing, check out Argyle Park; a lot of the girls talk about it.
