My photographer included an engagement shoot with our photography package. FH and I got engaged at Montauk Point and I would really love to have the pictures taken here bc we really dont have any pics together there. However, that is obviously far away. Do you think it is too much to request having them there? I kind of think it is, but I really want them there and we are paying him a lot of money for pics. What do you girls think???

i said it wasnt too far... i would ask to see if they can make the trip.
My photographer drove an hour and a half to take our engagement pics. She knew a really pretty park with a barn, a lake, etc that she thought was perfect, so she had us meet her out there. It was her idea, actually. Photogs just seem to love getting great shots with a happy couple... if the drive is an hour and a half or less, I don't think it will be a problem. Just don't ask him / her to drive to Montauk on a Saturday morning or anything when it will take 4 hours.
Just ask. I don't see why it would be a problem.
