I am going to have my engagement shoot hopefully around may and wanted to do it in old westbury gardens...but is it worth the fee?? i just spoke to them...i really don't want to post the fee here but any other beautiful places with beautiful gardens for free?? let me know

i don't live in long island so i don't know!! i wouldn't mind to take the trip to the island because i've heard there are very nice places!! so any recommendations will help! thanks Alyssa!

I found a really nice photography studio in Patchogue. The name is June Jacobsen. SHe does really beautiful stuff, click on the communion section in the gallery. Pricing starts at 150 to 350. I was thinking about doing an engagement or bridal shoot there myself.

Yep they do and its open to the public!! I do know that there are gates that get locked at a certain time of day, so just call to check the hours of operation. The gardens there are really pretty!! There are small ponds and fountains there too!! (when i went to school there i used to walk through there sometimes in the spring in between classes)
