engagement shoot?!?!

Hi Ladies! I need help! What are some good cool places for our engagement shoot? Museums? Also where is that place with the cool artwork on the wall that people take pics in front of?

My photographer recommends Sunken Meadow Beach and Dumbo Brooklyn. I also think Central Park would have a lot of really nice places to take pics!

depends on what you background you want - you could go to the city/Times Square/Dumbo or to the beach.

as for the colorful background you mentioned, did you mean graffitti? theres a lot along Long Island City

Beach - Long Beach or somewhere on the North Shore. Google Memento Photography in St. James NY (they are a vendor on here). They have these beautiful beach pics that they take right by the studio I think it is at Long Beach Town Park on Beach Rd in St. James/Nissequoge.

Park - Bayard Cutting Arboretum State Park

City - DUMBO/Brooklyn Bridge

We took ours on the antique carousel at Hempstead Lake State Park and also at Old Westbury Gardens.

I think the graffitti spot you're thinking of is called something like 5 Points. Not 100% sure, though.

I plan on going to Argyle Park in Babylon since this is where he proposed.. or maybe the lighthouse in Robert Moses beach since this is where he wanted to propose but the beach was closed the night he proposed!

Take it at the MOMA...just call and ask. I took mine at the AMNH and they were fine with it as long as there was no tripod.
