After a few attempts of scheduling our shoot, we finally had it yesterday at Captree. Our photographer was great. She knew which shots to get and has a great eye for the best angle. I know it's her job, but she's really good at it.
We made our way back to the car. I notice my purse was missing from under the seat. We looked back and overnight bag was gone too. (We had just come from the Hilton. Our friend was married at the VYC on Saturday). Needless to say everything was taken, jewlery, keys, dress, toiletrees, shoes, hair straightner, cell, camera.....the list goes on and on. I've spent the morning at the bank/dmv trying to get my life back.
What is wrong with people. Who breaks into someone's car at the beach? My FH has been wonderful, but I feel so alone and violated.

That stinks - i was just reading an article in my Geico newsletter about this. Apparently people love to not only steal cars - but they target the cars that have stuff in it.

I'm so sorry about that. I have had my car broken into & I can completely understand how you feel!!
What you're doing is best - get your things out of their hands by cutting them off.....get your CC's turned off, etc...

I don't have Amex. FH is calling his car insurance to see if anything is covered. He has a Wrangler, but everything was locked and zipped up. I don't even want to see my pictures now....totally lost all the fun in it all.

i know, you're right. i also know that they took things that can be replaced. at least we weren't hurt.
still makes me sad that people are really like this....i just want to crawl into bed!
