Engagement Shoot Props

I am still debating on whether or not I want to do my shoot on the beach or in the city.

What are some engagement shoot props you girls used and can you post pics?

I have some pics of my FH and I in Times Square. We did a second one two weeks at CW Post since we met there so I don't have them just yet.

No props used but I did jugle with the idea! It goes quick though, you don't want to lose time dragging props and running to put them down for pictures you might now want them used in. Just have fun !

The only 'prop' we used in our pictures was our umbrella and honestly, it was only because we needed it (since it started pouring in the middle of our shoot). I definitely love how it completely made this picture though but I don't think props are necessary. I think props can be cute but on the other hand, they can sometimes take the focus away from the main subject of the picture (you and your FH).

We were at Coney Island. This is the only prop we really used...which worked out because we were starving!!



And we have pictures playing the water gun game (don't have that one on here...but the teddy bear was what he won for me)

i think we want to do props, idk yet for sure! we were thinking maybe 1 large balloon, or a mini chalkboard we can write things on or maybe little LOVE letters to hold or save the date or something cute! def not nec but i think its a cute little addition if that is your personality

we did scrabble tiles, spelling out LOVE

and a book with hearts on it

and FH had a hat that we used

I like props! go for it

I loooove nyc pics, but im partial lol, thats where we did ours...plus we got engaged in NYC so i thought itd be cute to go back there
