Are these typically included in photography packages, or do you generally have to pay extra for them?

I didn't have to pay for mine. An 8x10 is free but the rest you have to pay for. They say it's 'included' but they getcha!

they are really 'test shots' for the photographer to get a feel for you and FH mine were included

my engagement shoot and an 8x10 were included....BUT they DO get you!!! our photographer took 64 pictures, i would say i loved about 55 of them!!! we ended up ordering more!

I think it depends on the photographer, what packages they offer, and what package you choose.

They did not include it in our package... we never wound up getting any.

Sometimes they are included... I took them out of my package to save money... I still really want them everytime I see all these nice pictures here on the board... but FH is totally opposed...

Duet includes them but calls it a casual day. We are actually spending about 4 hours with a photographer and videographer. We are going to Central Park and somewhere else (haven't decided between South Street Seaport and TImes Square). All the photographers we met with included something but some were in the studio, not really what we were looking for.
