Engagement Shoot Question
Hey GirlsI want to do my engagement shoot but have a question... what would you do?
We got engaged on Christmas eve and we both LOVE Christmas, we go all out for it and its such a big holiday.
Would you take your engagement pics around christmas time at Rockafella Center
Or
this summer on the beach? I love summer and we are getting married in July and I love the pics on the beach (scared about frizzy hair though).. I'm so confused!!! HELP!

Re: Engagement Shoot Question
If you like christmas and that is when you got engaged, I'd go for that time of year. I think taking a picture in Rockafella Center would look amazing!

I think you should do Christmas time, especially since you got engaged at that time. The pictures would be beautiful!!!

Re: Engagement Shoot Question
hmm, that's a tough one.Christmassy pics could be so cute
.. i can picture you guys bundled up in cozy scarves sharing hot cocoa!
But on the flipside you would be dealing with the cold weather and runny red noses
IMO i think i would go with the beach pics. You can be more playful and really see you and your fi as opposed to you guys covered in clothes.
But i am sure you guys will have great pics either season!

Re: Engagement Shoot Question
Rockafella sounds like an awesome idea, my only thing is the constent crowd surrounding you. It might be hard to take a bunch of professional pictures with people walking in front of you and everywhere else. For me, I wanted to make sure we wouldn't have to wear any bulky jackets in our photos. If Christmas is really a huge thing for you guys then don't let anything else determine you decision.

That was one of my worries also, there are TONS of people there all of the time. I would have to do it during the week I guess but there are still crowds.

Re: Engagement Shoot Question
I voted for the summer. While Christmas has special meaning for you, Rockefeller Center is a crowded mess during the holidays and you'd have a tough time getting good shots that don't have 1,000 people in the background.

We're doing summer time shoot because we want to use pictures on our STDs, and need to send them out next fall.

Re: Engagement Shoot Question
I would do x-mas b/c that the time you got engaged. It would probably be nice to look back and remember your engagement at around the same time of year it was.-If that makes sense.
