We were getting ready for the week ahead, he was doing the bedroom and I was sorting the Laundry. I was carrying a huge load of dirty clothes and I fell over him (he was down on one knee w/ring and candy in hand) I couldn't see over the clothes. I laid on the floor (dirty clothes on top of me and all) he laid down next to me sat the ring on my chest and asked me to marry him. I just laughed and he asked me if I wanted him to do it over. My response was no, because thats totally us...we never have those perfect romantic moments theres always something that goes wrong and it becomes a comedy

We went ice skating in Central Park-wollman rink and at point where they ask everyone to clear the ice so they can clean it or whatever they do (lol) he directed me to a circle in the middle of the rink that was coned off- he glided down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

this past V-day. we went out to celebrate 6 months together at the same restaurant we went on our 1st date. he gave me a ruby ring as a V-day gift, and then said 'I got u something else, and I'm not sure if u like it, and if u dont its totally returnable, u really dont have to wear it if u dont want it, plus there's another ring coming, but u can have both' basically he mumbled for like 5 mins straight. he gave me the ring and honestly I didnt like it so I gave it back, but then asked to try it on and the moment I put it on I was inlove - it is sooo me! so at this point I'm sitting there with the both rings on (v-day and e-ring) and not sure what's going on. so I asked him 'are we engaged, cause u didnt ask anything' so finally FH was able to squeeze out 'will u marry me '
we still laugh at how lame he was to propose

During an intense game of Rock Band, FH asked when we were exchanging Christmas gifts and told me mine was under the tree. It was a beautiful hand-crafted Disney centerpiece with Mickey Mouse and Pluto riding a sleigh. I went to get FH's gift which was stored in a closet, but he had piled boxes on top of it. I asked him to help me move the boxes, and as he put one of the boxes down, it had a ring box on it.
I opened it and immediately said 'Are you serious???' FH said no and took it back. After he put the ring on my finger, I started hugging and kissing him, and he suddenly said 'So you haven't answered me.' My response was 'You haven't asked me anything.' He looked me dead in the eye and said....'So, you wanna?'

fh took me and our parents out to dinner and he did it there. my story is not nice like everyones. fh put the ring on a plate and when i got back i saw it and he say so u wanna. and of course i said yes.

Ugh. He keeps asking me if he can re-propose. No you don't get a redo!
The first time was laying in bed and I said something about something lasting for ever and he leaned over and whispered 'Let's do it' and of course I don't think he means marriage and we get engaged and spend nearly a month custom designing and ordering a ring and he says he wants a big proposal.
The next proposal went terribly wrong because he thinks he knows my schedule when he doesn't and he kept trying to like surprise me or something and put it on my seat and hide in my car or some nonsense and that didn't work out and I basically got the same in bed proposal but this time he at least asked 'Will you marry me?'
Nothing sweet, I married the band geek whadaya want?

this past christmas he gave me a home made gift certificate for a horse and carriage ride around central park... so we went a few days later and thats when he proposed

For V-day this past year Fh took us for hot stone massages and we then got maragiritas. He was acting strange so I knew something was up and I knew he bought the ring months before. So then we went to The Melting Put and we had a table by the fireplace and he was nervous the whole time. Finally we were waiting for dessert. Everytime a waiter would pass he would get all excited then let down because they had nothing for us. All through out dinner he started to propose then stopped started then stopped. Finally he just asked me. I was crying . They were suppose to bring out a plate that said will you marry me but he couldn't wait any longer

im such a sap...im getting teary reading everyones stories!!
i came home from work and when i got home my mom said to check something in my room. and i was like yea yea i gotta pee. so i ran upstairs and went straight into the bathroom. Well while i was in there i decided to take off my pants to change into sweats. i walked into my room with my pants in my hand and there he was with the room decorated with rose petals, candles, pictures and our song playing and there i am with NO pants on!!! well he got down on one knee anyway and i told him to wait until i put my pants back on!!!

We had an apt in the diamond district to go look at rings, so we went into the city early to go to central park, so he got a horse and carriage half way threw the park, all of the horses were going one way and we werent. I had no clue i was just looking around at the people in the park but they were all starring at me! I turned to him and he was down on his knee, i looked at him and said 'what are you doing' then he showed me the box, and i dont even remember what he even said! lol But eventually i said YES and everyone was clapping and i was hysterical crying, then he had a party back at home with all the familes and friends...

He took me to Vegas for 5 days for our 4yr anniversary. On the actual anniversary we had reservations for the Eiffel tower restaurant. Right before we went in he told me he wanted to go to the observatory to see the Bellagio fountain show from up there. He was really insistent that we go Before dinner. After the fountain show we were standing just looking out at the strip and he had his arms around me, and we were sweet talking to each-other. Then he let go of me and i turned around to see why and he was on his knee with the box. I dont remember him asking anything but when he got up and put the ring on my finger i realized i hadnt said anything. Lol of course i jumped on him and said 'yes' a million times. Then we went to dinner.
Later he told me he didnt know if he was going to do it in the restaurant or in the observatory. So the restaurant knew he would be proposing that night. When we walked in the hostess lit up right away.

We had a vacation to Antigua planned and the week before, being the klutz I am, I poked myself in the eye and tore my cornea! So for a week I am in intense pain and I am pissed off at FH cause all he is worried about is that I will have to cancel our trip. I start feeling a little better by the time we leave. We get to Antigua and the hotel room totally *****! FH had not slept for like 24 hours since he works nites and he was pissing me off cause he was cranky, needless to say I was being a total b**** to him. I remember telling him, if you dont stop complaining I am never going on another vacation with you again. So, finally he says, lets go take a walk on the beach. We do, I am still acting like a b****, I turn to look at him, and he is holding my ring on his necklace. That is how he smuggled it on vacation, on his necklace. I was totally shocked because after three years I had started thinking I would never get engaged. He says to me, 'I love you and I want you to be my wife.' Needless to say, I felt like a total sh** cause I was so mean to him, and I started crying and said yes.

We went to Paris for our 3 year anniversary. We went to a beautiful park (Jardin du Luxembourg). We were standing looking at all the views and then he turned me around and talked for a few minutes, then got down on his knee in the middle of the park and asked me to marry him. So sweet!!!!!
