Engagements are contagious!

Has anyone noticed this? Once FH proposed, four more couples got engaged right after us!

Maybe there's something in the water....

I wish! I was the LAST of my friends to get engaged! They all got engaged last winter and I kept hoping my FH would 'catch that bug,' but it took him 10 darn months!

Nope! Just me!.....actually One of my friends got engaged a little before me(not planning anything for a few years) and one of my friends....we're still waiting!

well i got engaged in Oct...and I noticed from the 'when did FH propose' thread that there was a good amount of ladies who got engaged on my day or the day after two days after

i got engaged on Oct 13th 2006...

none of my friends got engaged right after me and FH or are going to get engaged anytime soon- well as what i can tell from....

well jessie and kristin you guys are my friends haha but i didnt know you before i got engaged or right after--- otherwise i would have definitely said you!!

haha after i got engaged bran bran did like a week and a half later!! and our weddings are 100 days apart! ooooh boooyy we're in for it! lol

Me: October 28th, 2006 & August 30th, 2008
Bran: November 12th, 2006 & May 24th 2008

I am the middle one of 3. We were all engaged about 2 weeks apart...

I am am BM in the first one's wedding this coming September, then me in March and the 3rd wedding is 2 weeks after me.

my best friend - who lives across the street from me. . .got engaged dec 23 - and i got engaged dec 24 ( 2005). . . and our FH's had NO IDEA it was too funny

THEN two of my other friends got engaged in 2006
AND three of my coworkers
AND one of my family members

haha the chain for us started after my sis got engaged! Since last July till Nov 08 I will have 7 weddings I will have been invited to!

We're the middle of the pack. But it's a big pack.

My best friend got married last summer.
FH's old roommate proposed to his GF last August.
Then FH proposed to me.
Then one of my co-workers got engaged a week later.
Another co-worker got married a week after that. Then another friend of Fh's proposed after Thanksgiving.
Now a college friend of mine just emailed me with stories.

Oh crap! I just realized that one of my other frineds got engaged too! She's getting married in May! I'm such a dinkus!
