I got my FH a movado watch as an engagement gift but I gave it to him right before our e-party because I wanted him to wear it the whole time.

that's a good idea! I don't know what to get him though, but I would like to! I don't want it to be too pricey because we're ending up shelling out more money then we planned for our eparty alone! We just HAD to make it themed, right?? lol
any suggestions for an small/inexpensive but nice/meaningful gift?

I bought FH cufflinks for the wedding.
They weren't crazy expensive, but they are the trinity love knot. I thought they were kinda cute.

Our E Party passed and I don't think I am getting anything for him. I am getting him a wedding gift which is an extra night in Venice!

I always said if the guy is getting me a ring I want to get him something too (but this is JUST ME being silly) I got fh a Thomas Kinkade painting that he REALLY wanted.... but its not necessary to get something for the engagement :)

great! I was thinking about getting him this watch he's been wanting for a couple years now-it's actually discontinued but you can still find it online and it's cheaper than it use to be! ha. I think I might just give it to him right before the party and not even discuss 'exchanging' gifts...afterall, he did get a ring!

we didnt have an e-party but for our 1 year 'pre-anniversary' i bought FH a bottle of cologne that he can then wear the day of the wedding!!! hes gettin a BIG wedding gift so I didnt want to do something crazy, just a little something to mark the date

The gift I gave FH the next time I saw him after our engagement was a handmade gift. He proposed to me in Va Beach. I went on Microsoft Word and took one of the pics of the boardwalk / ocean and faded out the color. Then I wrote him a special note (about a paragraph long) expressing my feelings to him and what the engagement meant to me. The faded pic was the background. I also took a pic of us holding hands and showing the ring, so that pic went in the bottom corner of my message. I added the date and location. Bought a 5 x 7 frame and decorated it with mini shells. It's now sitting on his bedside table so he can be reminded of our special day. It's not a huge gift but it's meaningful and he loves it.
Don't have a pic now but I could take one next time I see him.

Talk abotu the guy with everything thats my FH! I mean everything! If its new technologically he has it. if its watches or clothing he has it! So the one thing he didnt have was a beautiful humidor (cabinet style) engraved with the engraved cutter & lighter with real cubans!!! Long story on how we got those

Dont you love it? It's funny I wasnt big on tvs until this one but I can't imagine watching anything on regular tv... I've become an HD snob.... I cant watch movies unless they're HD or Blueray!
