Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

We made Candy Wrappers for Hershey bars that said Kristin and Michael's engagment party and the date.

IMO I wouldnt go out and spend lots of money on favors like you would for a wedding.

Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

I would give out a little something, but nothing big. All the e-parties I went to did and if I had decided to have one I would have. The way I look at it is if someone gives you a gift, you should thank them by giving them something. Even some small candies...JMO

Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

YES- we gave favors to each couple. It was a mini frame with our E-pic that we had done inside. We then wrapped them in pretty clear celphane baggies that had hearts on them.

Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

We gave out favors at our eparty. I got the gift boxes that look like Chinese takeout boxes, w. custom labels and filled them w. candy. They were not that expensive, and the guests loved them.

Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

YES. You should give out a favor. They add a very nice touch for the people who came to wish the best.

For my sons e-party, we bought small bottles of Sutter Home wine and tied printed ribbons around the neck. Their inespensive and they come in a 4 pack.
My daughter made a CD of their favorite love songs.

My other suggestion is to have a decorative gift bag on the gift table for envelped gifts. BUT keep the gift table in clear site.

Its a shame that sometimes you can't trust anyone and the gift bag could just get up and walk out the door.

Yes, I did acrylic hurricane glasses filled with colored paper and a Pina Colada recipe and little umbrella. Everyone loved them. I had a E-BBQ at my house with about 60 people.

Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

We gave out Lenox bud vases a set of 10 was $50. I will post a picture when I get home I don't have any on my computer at work. But I know that Lenox sells sets of wedding favors in boxes of 10 for $50 and they have quite a few different choices.

Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

IMO, you don't HAVE to but it's nice, especially since you are doing it at a hall. My FMIL made our e-party favors otherwise I would have just gotten custom wrapped candy bars. She gave out champagne flutes filled with Hershey Kisses wrapped in tulle with some pretty ribbon.

Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

My cousins e-party is next month & can't remember the name of the place they are using but there doing a breakway cookie CP. It sounded very nice & kills 2 birds w/ one stone. If your interested in more info FM me & I'll give her a call. But I do think any kind of breakaway CP for e-party is a cute idea.

Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

YES, I think it's a nice way to say thank you to your guests. I would do something inexpensive like candy.
I'm going to make chocolate lollipops or regular chocolates....very easy to do and inexpensive....and put a small thank you label on the back.

Re: engagment party favors? Yes orNO?

We had a brunch for our engagement party and we gave out the mini bottles of champagne. If you want to got less expensive the mini bottles of sutter home wine are nice. My sister decorated each mini champagne bottle with wedding ribbon. I we payed like 1.60 per bottle since we bought 60 bottles.
