I held out as long as I could (I'll admit it -- I wanted to lose some weight!!)
We are finally going next week for our casual (engagement) pics. We are getting married late July . Our photographer told us this was plenty of time b/f our wedding

We did ours last September - I wanted them for the newspaper engagement announcements. Our photographer doesn't include E-shoots anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. I love our photo. It's over there, to the left.

What I don't get, though, is why would it be too soon? The only thing I could think of that would make taking e-photos too soon would be pre-engagement.
'Oh, he hasn't proposed yet, but we're taking our engagement photos this weekend.'
