Engraving -- how many letters max?

The phrase that FH and I want to put on our bands is about 30 characters including letters and spaces. Does anyone know if this would fit on a typical wedding band? Thanks

depends on the size and width of the ring. My ring is a size 6 and has 21 characters including spaces and it prob could have comfortably had 27 characters. We had the rings hand engraved. DF's ring has the same as mine but his text is larger since his ring is so much bigger than mine is.
