Engraving weddings bands

Are any of you ladies going to get your FH's wedding band engraved? What will it say?

We're doing the engraving as well - both our rings will have our initials/names and the wedding date. We need to speak with the store and ask if there is enough room for our names - if not, we'll go w/initials.

I dropped FH's ring off yesterday to be engraved. It will be a total surprise to him. I asked the jeweler to put interlocking hearts and the wedding date.

We surprised each other as well! We forgot to look until we were hanging out in the bridal suite before our CH began....

Mine had barely enough room and has our initials and date engraved. FI's band has 'Come What May w/our date' engraved...

Funny to see this post b/c my FH and I were in Tiffany's yesterday just browsing at wedding bands for him. He found one he liked. So then we got to talking about engraving them. His will def. have room but we're not sure if mine will b/c the band is so thin....it's the exact band of my e-ring which is in my avatar

So it's just a really thin band with diamonds so we're really not sure if mine could be engraved...we'll have to see.

But I said I'd def. get his engraved and he said he'd want me to surprise him. So of course I've been already panicking b/c I'm not that creative...trying to think of what I'd say. So I like the idea of something from your wedding song...ours is At Last so that is short and sweet....then I had an idea that he would probably love but it is so silly...but it would really make him laugh and it could be nice esp if mine can't be engraved...we always joke around that my name is his name if you just take off my K at the beginning and add a C at the end of his name.
Mine name is Keri
His name is Eric...
so a lot of people call us KERIC - a combo of mine and his name...
So I was thinking of doing
At Last...Keric - and our date or something.
I just don't know if it's gay or cheesy...but he is super silly so I actually think he would love it.
I'll see - I have plenty of time to decide.

KandE917 - I think your idea for engraving FH's band is cute - and it sounds like he would love it as well. I'm trying to think of something - b/c I too am not that creative but so far I'm drawing up blanks.

I searched love quotes on the internet to come up with one for our invite - what about searching there? I wound up not finding one what said what I really wanted it to say, BUT it helped me come up with my own.
