Enough snow now

ok...i did enjoy the whole snow experience yesterday but now i am ready for it to stop...

Since my DH had to go to work today i thought it would be really cool of me to dig out our cars (he got picked up). Since my DH had sporadically cleaned off the cars yesterday and night i thought it wouldn't be that bad.......

WRONG!!!!
I lasted about 15 minutes....it is just soooo cold out...i actually felt like i couldn't brethe!

i was going to go over and help my grandparents shovel, but my dad just called and said not to bother - it's not worth the risk of driving today
stuck inside again - no choice but to grade MORE papers (I finished about 200 yesterday)

I wouldn't mind it so much, but you're right- it is SO cold still.
I'm dreading my DH asking me for help w/ shoveling- I better go hide.

if you are going to shovel...NO i wouldn't!!!

My husband and I were out shoveling last night from 1am to 3am and I woke up and it looks like we did nothing.

i hate snow!!!! i just went out to shovel- what a pain in the arse!!!!! in Long Beach, there isnt really anywhere to put the snow..... I am really proud of myself though... I dug my truck out, made sure it is able to get in and out, shoveled the pathway to my apt and around the house... however, my back, knees, hands and toes are KILLING me!!!!! and i know that in about an hour I will have to regroup and go back out- the annoying guys that live next to me only care about themselves and will probably repile the snow!!!!

No shoveling for me or DH...ahhh co-op living!!


DH worked last night from 7pm till 7am this morning and he has to do it again tonight

He is an officer in Dept of Sanitation in NY. When he got home this morning he said him and another guy just drove around after plows all night to make sure they were doing their job! What a job

My husbands been out there snow blowing for hours..enough already....we are going to the IHOP..we are starving and today makes a great pigging out day!

FH was out there for an Hour, and I will hear about till next Friday Im sure, but he did the cars!


p.s The sun is out here, it actually melted what was left on the cars that he missed..

Oh the cars...no, no, no. We have to do that. DH did all that before he went to bed this morning...so correction...no shoveling for me!!!

so did my DH, he even cleaned them off and shoveled this morning (5:30) but jeez there was A LOT when i went out there ..snow drifts i think

We just finished shoveling! Ray did the front yard and I did the back (for Gizmo). We were out there for less than 45 min. The sun is out here
