Since it was so popular the first time around we are announcing the second LIWeddings - NYCityWeddings kissing contest! But this time we have upped the ante! There will be 3 winners! A 2009 bride or newlywed, a 2010 bride and a 2011 bride! Each winner will receive an overnight stay including breakfast from The Inn and Spa at East Wind! This is perfect time of year to experience the East End of Long Island.
The Inn and Spa at East Wind is perfectly located as well. A short drive to the Hamptons, their guests can experience grandeur and opulence while being surrounded by world class golf courses and award winning wineries. Other local attractions include one of the largest shopping destinations - Tanger Outlet Center, and one of the Top 5 water parks in the United States- Splish Splash. The Inn and Spa at East Wind recreates an environment that will transport you to another place and time. It will be the perfect getaway for the winning couples.
Here's how to enter.
1) You must be a registered user on LIWeddings / NYCityWeddings 2) Take a photo of yourself and your FH kissing (or have someone else take the photo) 3) Post the photo on this official contest thread along with your wedding year and a tip on how to achieve the perfect kiss. 4) Multiple submissions are allowed (only one submission and photo per post - each submission must include a different tip) 5) Non-pro photos only please, photoshopping not allowed 6) Please only post entries on this thread 7) You cannot submit the same entry if you entered the previous kissing contest.
Contest deadline is 8/4/09
Winner will be selected from all entries on 8/5/09.

2009 Bride TIP: Block out everything around you when you are kissing the one you love....it should just be the two of you in your own little paradise :)
a bad pic but I guess you had to be there...lol this was taken in Ireland (our HM) as we were chosen to act out a scene from the QUIET MAN in the actual cottage/town it was filmed in...

2009 Tip: When your priest wraps you in a veil and binds you to each other with a cord so you can barely move, trust in your DH and let him take the lead (hard to do - I know!). And if he wants to sweep you off your feet in front of all your friends, family and even your priest, don't hesitate and let it happen!

Tip: Close your eyes and enjoy the ride.
Also by closing your eyes, you miss the fact the your names might possibly be spelled wrong on your Engagement Cake (i.e. Kristine and Joey turned into Kristina and Joy)
