We need a DOC because I am going to be FREAKING OUT the day of our wedding! It wasn't part of our budget. However, as the day approaches I am getting over whelmed and feel like I am forgetting things that need to be done. I feel like having a DOC would completely ease my nerves as well as everyone else involved.

I'm getting married July 15, 2011 at The Inn at New Hyde Park. I always wanted to have a DOC; however, FH says its not in the budget for us. We will be engaged for two years on May 29th. We had such a long engagement so we could have the wedding of our dreams.
Again, I have always wanted to have a DOC. It would make our wedding complete to have someone who would help us throughout the day.

I have been thinking about getting a DOC for a while now. Fh said he doesn't want to waste the money. I feel like in order to have a smooth day you just need one. How will I know if all my vendors are doing what they are supposed to, or if my centerpieces are set up the way I want them to, or that everything I have planned for 2 years is the way we want it they day of?
please pick me FH will see how important it is to have a DOC once we get it!

I really would love a DOC but its out of budget. As a mother of two young boys and I have a mother who is already stressing over everything detail which is no help to me. I would love to have someone making sure things go smoothly and help me to remember all the small things that may slip my mind. My kids always come first and I know I'm going to be focused on them and all their needs before mine. I need someone there to remind me this day is about me and help me through any stressful moments that may arise. We have had to cut a lot if corners and a doc is something I really would love to have. We have worked so hard towards this wedding and hit so many bumps along with the way. It would be great to have someone helping me. I am currently working by day and going to school at night and taking care of 2 active little boys so I am so busy all the time I am afraid I am going to forget something whether little or small. A DOC would definitely be so beneficial to me in these last few months of planning and the especially the day of.

I would love to have had a DOC but unfortunately cant afford the extra cost.... All day long at work, I pride myself on counseling others and helping take the stress away from them, to the best of my ability... I just want that for one day for myself to enjoy every minute of our wedding.... Thanks for the chance!

we need a coordinator because I'm very worried about the little details and don't want to stress out on the big day!! We are on a very tight tight budget because once he gets back from deployment he is going to go to school and not have a job for two years.

As with many couples, FH and I are paying for the wedding and the house (as well as everything else) ourselves without help... and it would be nice to be able to relax for once! After driving EVERYONE EVERYWHERE and being the person who plans everything.. I never get a break. I already know that as well meaning as my bridal party and family are - They will be driving me nuts with questions, comments, etc. I already have a book I'm writing for someone to take over with all the emergency numbers as well as a copy of the contracts, pictures, etc. So, having a DOC to just walk around with that book and tell people to leave me alone a little would be nice!

I am getting married on Thursday, November 10th at the Watermill in Smithtown.
Having a DOC would be AMAZING. We simply cannot afford one, but I feel like I could desperately use one. Our families are from two completely different backgrounds, and I don't need to have the stress of making sure everyone gets along, coupled with is everything being set up right, and is everything running on time. Which brings me to my next point - I am HORRIBLE at time management. If I am solely in charge of time - uh oh!! Please help out a stressed out bride to be!!

We really need and would like a DOC because I need that person that I will be able to trust and rely on. Knowing that I have a DOC with ease a lot of anxiety and stress that I have with planning this wedding. I am such a worry wort and having someone to guide me through the rest of the wedding process will bring me some relief.

We will be getting married 10/2/2011 <3 I would love a DOC but after checking out prices, I am afraid we will not be able to afford to book one.
My fiance and I both work full time, just purchased our first home, and are paying for our wedding without the assistance from anyone, as I come from a family with 8 children my parents arent able to give their daughter her 'dream' wedding.
I would love to have a DOC to help things run smoothly since I myself am a bit of a control freak, I think it would really keep me sane! I hope I am 'randomly' choosen!!

I would LOVE a DOC because I need an air traffic controller to round up and direct my loud, always right big fat Sicilian family. Someone once asked why we always yell at each other...I had no idea what they were talking about because that's merely the way we talk to each other on a normal basis!
I have people come in from Florida, Massachusettes, California and Australia for this event. Try giving them directions to find the rehearsal dinner in Farmingdale, the church in Seaford and the reception in Howard Beach...and have them get there on time :)
As of right now my bridesmaids dresses came in, but they're the wrong color so I'm pretty stressed with that. My maid of honor and best friend since we're 11, moved to Australia and got in to a massive accident where she needed 10 plates and 40 screws surgically attached to her head to put her back together (slightly more stress with that). I'm in the process of also planning a senior prom where the other day I needed to call my DJ and instead I called the DJ for the prom (more stress). When ordering my invitations, the company's computer system got hacked and my credit card information was stole (stressful). It would be really nice to have someone else take any more stress from me!
All parents are divorced...mine are remarried, but that doesn't mean that everyone gets along so it would be nice to have someone to run interference at some point with the parents!

I would absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a DOC. It is the one thing that I have wanted from day one yet can't spend the extra money on. I have spend countless hours putting together so many DIY projects and 'little touches' for my guest. To make them really feel like every part of my wedding was throughly though out by FH and I. I know the day of the wedding will be so hectic and I wont want to have to go around and check that every single one of my special details are set up correctly and how I envision. Its sad to say but this is the ONE and only part about my wedding that I am most stressed and worried about...that everything will be setup and look exactly how I would like. Having a DOC would put my mind 100% at ease

Hello, Im getting married on 9/17/11 and would love to have a DOC!! I considered hiring one but we are so over our budget and although we are both working alot of overtime in the end it would not be enough. Im a nervous micro-manager and I am worried about the wedding going smoothly.I would so appreciate winning this service!

Since, like most other brides on here, FH and I are on a budget we decided that we couldn't afford to do the DOC thing, especially since FH doesn't understand or see the need....but if I could win it then he couldn't complain! I want/need a DOC to handle to small details and/or issues that me, FH, my BM's and/or my parents won't have time or want to deal with, since i'm sure everyone will be way to busy enjoying the day!.

Our Wedding Date is 8-21-11
We would love a DOC, but like most of the girls on here, it is not in our budget. FH and I are both teachers, and when it comes to planning, we know how to do it. However during the school year, our wedding plans are put after the children that we teach. It would be nice, for just one day, to have someone plan for us - to make sure the most meaningful day of our lives runs smoothly.
Winning this would also put ease on our parents, as I'm sure they will be overly concerned with the details the day of.

I am getting married on 4-28-2012
My fiance and I are paying for the wedding ourselves and are planing from a distance- we live near Washington DC. It has been stressful saving and planing on a budget. I have so many DIY ideas but I don't want to worry about setting up and organizing everything the day of. We want everything to be as stress-free as possible for both us and our families. A day of coordinator would help us get everything in order and keep our special day stress free.

We are getting married August 18, 2012.
We need a DOC because we are overwhelmed by the details! We have two sites where we are getting ready, a ceremony space that has never done a wedding before (and that we somehow need to decorate ourselves...despite only having a half hour to do so), an officiant who has never officiated before (he's my FBIL), three hours of time for photos and a very large family (including SIX kids) to wrangle during that time, out-of-town guests to coordinate with the hotel shuttle and three different limos that are being used a various points throughout the day.We keep talking about how we are going to make it all work, and time and time again we go back to our need for a DOC to help make sure everything runs smoothly. The problem is, we don't have room in our budget!! Our families have helped out a lot with the expenses, but they have also helped our invite list swell to an absurd 265 guests leaving us with a lot more of a bill than we had expected. My fiancee has already become fixated on how we will get the ceremony space decorated with no help and no time. Having a DOC would make us both breathe much easier!

I have a little over 6 months left, and i'm stressed NOW! I'm a big DIY bride, so I have many things going on that I will need help with that day. I would love to have a DOC, something I never thought of because I can't budget it in.

Ah with 2 months to go, I am having daily panic attacks. We are on a budget, but I wish we had enough to get a DOC. Honestly, that is what I think about every day.

I am getting married on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Riviera at Massapequa.
Having a Day of Coordinator would be a tremendous help considering I have so much else going on in addition to trying to plan a wedding. I'm less than 3 months away and I have yet to book any hair/makeup trials, visit with any florist, book a limo, create menus/programs/place cards, etc. Would appreciate any additional help! :)
