All you have to do to enter this contest is reply to this official contest post and tell us your wedding date and why you need a DOC.

My wedding date is 7/1/12 at VYC in Babylon.
I think a DOC would be soooo helpful in avoiding the last minute details and drama surrounding my Big, Fat, Jewish wedding! My mother and FMIL are going to make me grey, probably a few months from now. Any help in avoiding additional grey hair would be fabulous!

First and foremost, a HUGE thank you to LI Weddings for giving us this, as well as many other opportunities for help with our weddings!
Brian and I are getting married 8/26/11 at Smithtown Landing. We previously won a package for everything regarding our wedding at half price with a different venue, and it all turned out to be a hoax. For lack of a better term, we basically got screwed!
Not long after finding this out, my father passed away, a week before my engagement party, and I fell into a deep depression, completely losing sight of the happy times ahead of us. I lost 6 months of wedding planning (as well as wedding savings), but already had dresses set up with the Bridesmaids, so we kept the wedding date close by to reduce risk of dress mayhem. Each plan has been a hurdle to jump financially, as well as causing me great pain after the loss of my father. I am wayyy behind, and could totally use someone to help out and make sure we are in tip top shape for the big day!

I am getting married June 25th (2011) to a wonderful man named Adam. We currently live in Florida and have been planning this wedding from Florida and do all the booking and planning during weekend visits to New York. (I grew up on Long Island and he grew up in Philadelphia). A DOC would be EXTREMELY helpful in just making sure everything goes smoothly and ensures that in my many trips to NY I didn't forget to take care of a detail here and there or leave things at the church or reception hall.... all the planning on top of my final year of graduate school has made me a bit scatterbrained
A DOC would be a godsend

Im getting married August 11th 2012, and i need a DOC because i am very unorganized, and super busy with my current job. I barely have time for myself between finishing grad school, working a full time job coaching 2 sports, buying a house, and planning a wedding

Our wedding date is 8/5/11.
I would love to have a DOC but our budget doesn't allow for me to have one. I'm a very organized person and feel having a DOC will keep my stress away on the big day to make sure every vendor does what we pay them to do. Also, to help things run smoothly.

I need a DOC because it helps to have someone who knows weddings like the back of their hand and can take care of any disasters (big or small) that might arise and cause a crazy bride like myself to choke and or maim.

My wedding date is 7/15/12.
I need an DOC because like many of the brides I don't have the funds in my budget for one. I finished graduate school in December and I haven't been able to find a job as a Teacher. I also have loans from my undergraduate/graduate studies that are being paid by a part time weekend job, which makes it even harder to save for the wedding. Aside from money issues I also don't have a MOH to help me organize any of my events. I'm pretty much the only girl in my family and most of my friends are married with kids, so I didn't want to give them this financial burden. It would be awesome if I would be able to have someone for guidance and to help me organize my big day. :)

Our wedding date is 11-17-12. We need a DOC to put our loud Greek families in their places! They are all extremely opinionated about how things should get done, and have no trouble voicing their two cents!
Having a DOC will calm everyone's nerves

Having a DOC would be amazing. To know on one of the most important days of our lives that everything is under control would be be divine! My family and I are the kind of people who love to help out where we can, so that usually means that when parties are happening we are in the kitchen...cooking, cleaning, coordinating. Obviously i wont be in the kitchen on my wedding day but i know i'll be worried about every aspect of my wedding day all day. I work full time as a book keeper and my fiance' is a chemist and travels a lot for work. We don't have much time together and when we are i don't want to worry about the specifics of our wedding day. I want it to be an enjoyable day of family and friends and celebration. If my fiance' and i were given this opportunity to have a DOC we would absolutely appreciate it!

My wedding is on September 24,2011. My ceremony is in Brooklyn and reception is at the fox hollow in Woodbury. I wish I could afford a DOC but we are on a budget. I would need someone to make sure everything goes smoothly and to help set up my chairs at the rh. We are buyin our own sashes and they said I would have to put them on myself and being that I won't have time this would be a great help to me. Also would be great to get some help with the vendors and the set up. and make sure everything runs smoothly. This would be a dream come true for me.

wedding date 5/19/12 FH and I are going back and forth about having a DOC. We determined that it just does not fit in the budget. I am the first in my family to get married so this is pretty new to all of us. I am trying to figure out what needs to be done and when trying not to leave anything out. I am not very organized and FH biggest fear is that I am going to forget something.....DOC would give me a piece of mind in this most stressfull/exciting time.

I'm getting married on July 4, 2011.
I need a DOC because I'm extremely busy with a business I'm starting in NYC, but am having a large wedding of 350 guests at Oheka Castle! The renovations for the space for my business are expected to be completed by July, the same month as my wedding, and I'm afraid I won't have enough time to wrap up my wedding planning, and am even more fearful that, because of this, my wedding day will be chaotic! Moreover, my MOH, my sister, is due to give birth to her first baby late May, so she hasn't be able to help me at all, and my BMs are either busy or from out of state. I need a DOC!!

Our wedding date is on 9/15/11. (This is written by her FH without her knowing)
My fiance and I are getting married one year to the day of our engagement, we are even getting married at the same spot that we got engaged.
I know deep down inside she wants to have a DOC so that she doesn't have to stress the most important day of her life, but everything does cost money (and we just cant afford it). I would love for her to be calm that day and just worry about make the biggest decision of her life. I love her very much and I know that all the wedding planning is starting to get to her, I try to help every single day because I know planning a wedding shouldnt be a one person effort but we live in Florida and are getting married in NY, and she is also a doctorate student. Please HELP take the stress off us!

i'm getting married 6/17/11 and i could really use a DOC b/c FH and I have taken care of a majority of the wedding plannings ourselves and I'm starting to feel the pressure. I need this for my sanity on the day of b/c i see myself going crazy now!

We are getting married April 29, 2012.
Our wedding is going to be so grande and I want a really royal theme. My FH and I are both Greek Orthodox and we will be having a HUGE traditional Greek wedding!!! Having my own wedding day coordinator would be an absolute dream come true!!!!! That is the only thing we will not be having at our wedding because our budget would not allow it. If our day didn't go perfect I would be devastated, I have nightmare In-laws and I really need someone to help me keep calm and make sure everything is going perfectly. I'm getting married 11/3/2012 at Timber Point County Club.
As like most of the girls on here, my FH and I are paying for our wedding ourselves. Of course money is tight and we are trying everything to save where we can.
I really enjoy the wedding planning but would love to have someone to bounce ideas off of and to utilize their resources.
I've heard amazing things about Piece of Cakes and would love to work with Christine.

We're getting married on October 14, 2011. Before we were engaged, we thought we'd have a destination wedding to save on cost as well as planning. Sadly, by the time we were engaged, my mother's health made a destination wedding an impossibility. She can't travel and there was no way I'd consider getting married without her being there.
My mom's health has left me to do much of the planning and preparations alone. I was fortunate that she WAS able to go with me for my gown. Sadly, all of the other things that most brides get to do with their moms, we don't get to do together.
My small bridal party is spread out and while I know they'd love to be able to do much of the planning with me, they're simply unable to. Having someone there, on our wedding day, to help things go smoothly would be incredible.
I'd marry my fiance anywhere. He's truly the most amazing man I've ever met. While neither of us imagined having a wedding in this fashion, the moment we realized that my mom couldn't attend a destination wedding, he encouraged the decision for us to plan something here. Our short engagement, my two jobs, frequent doctor appointments I take my mom to, and the current distance between my home and my fiance's has made things especially hectic. While everything has fallen upon me (making me even more grateful that this site exists for the valuable help I receive from other brides), having a Day of Coordinator would be a priceless gift which would allow us to just enjoy the day with our friends and family.

I'm getting married 10/15/11.
I NEED a coordinator because FH and I are both working 2 jobs to pay for the wedding. We are having our ceremony in an unusual location and are having to coordianate all the vendors for that. I'm beginnng to worry about how things will actually happen on that day.
