Entrance at reception?

Entrance at reception?

Anyone ever been to a wedding where the bridal party and bride and groom were NOT announced at the start of the reception? We are really thinknig we do NOT want to do this and would prefer to just have our first dance. I'm just trying to think of what else we could do? (we joke that we will slowly and in a suttle way just move to the dance floor and that will be that but somehow, I doubt it. ) I need ideas.....

how about if your husband is handed the microphone and 'asks' you to dance?

The DJ or Band could just start playing your song and the two of you can just walk out on to the dance floor and start dancing.

I think this is what we want to do.
There's a small part in the beginning of our song with no words.. they could just say 'Introducing X & X in their first dance as husband & Wife'. We do our dance and then prehaps they can introduce the rest of the bridal party (or not) and we can all join in a dance?

I think that's kind a what we are doing.
We won't annoucne bridal party, but we don't want to dance the whole song alone, so will will probabaly be at CH & mvoe on in to reception with everyone else & then have the mc say something about Mr & Mrs & their first dacne together, and we'll dance, and then he'll invite people to join us.

Our bridla party isnt going to be announced - we may be announced -i havent figured it out yet...

What i want to do is to start our song (From this moment on) it has a short part where she is just talking - i want to shut off all teh lights and just have the votives on teh tables light the room...there is then an instrumental part - we are going to walk into that and just go right into the dance.

make sense?? I htink it is going ot be really romantic
