What typically happens after everyone is introduced and then the Bride and Groom proceed to their 1st dance? Do the parents take their seat along with bridal party? Or do they stand around and watch? I have no clue..i’ve always been guest and just watch the bride & groom never know what happens to the BP & parents

my bp stood and watched. my parents stood and watched near the dais as well as DHs parents, mostly everyone stood though- the important people were on the 'outside'
we did not have them asked on the dance floor until a 2nd song we chose- this is up to you..we wanted the whole song to ourselves , and then after that toasts and such occur
