Our MC played us 2 great re-mixes that he has, they are dancey and techno-ish but no words so that he is able to introduce us without the lyrics to the songs getting in his way. The one for the parents and BP starts out slow and then goes into this awesome mix, and the one for us he calls, 'Children of the Sandstorm.' Love them!

Talk to your DJ - they are professionals and can provide you with some samples. Call your DJ and ask them to send you a sample CD so you & FH can listen.

We used The end of the world as we know it by REM for us & I can't remember what song we used for the BP!

My aunt and cousin walked into 'We are Family'
DH's parents walked into 'Born to be Wild'
DH's brothers and SIL (our GM and BM) walked into 'Walk Like an Egyptian'
Our BM and MoH walked into 'Do a Ditti- ditti dum- ditti do'
Our FG walked into 'Hakuna Matatta' from the Lion King
We came up the elevator at Russo's (through the center of the dance floor) to Slayer's 'Dead Skin Mask' which was VERY dramatic. We also had to have a song for when the elevator goes down again so we chose Collective Soul's 'Tremble for my Beloved' which also was very dramatic.
