Do you ladies think that 'You and Me' by Lifehouse is too slow for an entrance song? Our bridal party is entering to 'Don't Stop Believing,' but 'You and Me' has special meaning to us and we wanted to incorporate it somewhere (but not our first dance).
Thanks!

Re: Entrance Music?
I love that song!!! I'm not a big 'mix' person, but your DJ could up the BPM and play it a bit faster for an entrance pace. If he ups just the BPM, it's the same song, with a slightly faster pace. Or you could just make it your 'second dance!!!' Chances are, you're not sitting down after the first one if the next is a meaningful song, and you don't have to do the first dance, parent dance, etc. one after the other . . . .

Re: Entrance Music?
I'm no bridezilla by any stretch of the imagination, however my dj better watch out! lolol music is very important to me, and i have a playlist of songs that are a must for my wedding... for example: inxs- 'never tear us apart' to name one. during dinner i want all of those songs played! maybe you can come up with a set of special songs for when your guests have dinner or something?

You can do the song for cutting the cake...that is what FH and I are doing. We have a 'special' song that is between the 2 of us and they are making that our cake song.

Maybe the Lifehouse song could be your last song of the night?
While 'You and Me' is an awesome song (it was our first dance song!), I think it's too slow for your entrance. You probably want something more upbeat and fun, to get everyone in party mode!

I would definitely consider 'You and Me' for a second dance. You could dance to it right after dinner. Everyone will be cleared off the floor.

Re: Entrance Music?
Thanks for all the input, I appreciate all your suggestions. I think we will find another way to incorporate it, maybe a second dance or the last dance (our first dance is to 'When You Say Nothing At All' by Allison Kraus and Union Station).
Now the problem is - what the heck do we have the band play for our entrance!?? We have to give them our song list in six days and we're stumped!
