Entrance Songs ....

Cira, I like the fun, nontraditional thing, but if it isn't your thing, than defenitely try to pick one that is fun for both of you. I think we will enter to Mrs. Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel. That will be my new last name...assuming I change it!! Becky

Karen..

It actually isn't that song but that is a great song. The Love Theme is instrumental. This way the DJ announcing everyone wasn't competing with the words.

Question and Help with entrance stuff

My fi and I are walking in to 'A beatiful Day'. Our bridal party consists of only 2 flower girls (4 and 5 yo). I have one sister, and he has 5 siblings. My mother just passed away, my father is remarried, but I'm not close with my stepmother. My fi's parents are still together. Knowing this, do you think we have to have big entrances for all of our family and the 2 flower girls?? It's a small wedding, about 60-75 people, mainly family. Basically my point is that it's not a typical wedding party, and my mother being gone.... well I don't know if we want to do grand entrances. What do you think? Will it be boring just having us enter and start our first dance? We might not even do parent dances.

First, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom-my grandmother just passed away and it's been rough planning a wedding on top of greiving! As for the entrance, I'm walking in with my fiance and not having the parents or bridal party walk in....It's not strange at all (in my opinion). Best of luck.

Nina / 74 bride

I was just in a wedding where they didn't announce the bridal party, parents etc. We all walked in with the rest of the guests and they only announced the bride and groom. It looked great and nobody noticed. I was IN the bridal party and I didn't even think of it until I was trying to figure out how my FI and I should be announced at our wedding.

I'm having a pretty large bridal party (14 all together) & both my & my fiance's parents are still together, but we still won't be having everyone announced. I think its fine. I'd just like everything to be low-key & comfortable. I've been in a few wedding parties & personally I never really liked being announced.

Entrance Songs .... good music website...

A friend recently told me about Kazaa. I was using Morpheus but we had a lot of problems with it. This site seems to work much better. I think the website is kazaa.com Good luck!

Thank you everyone, Jenny119 and Becky ...

we are both fun types, but the rocky theme, i just don't know! We got great suggestions and this is something we definitely need to discuss. I like the no words, so the band is not interruped, so maybe we'll go there. We have some serious thinking to do - I'm so grateful I have this board.

Nina ...

how does your FH feel? Ask him if he wants his parents introduced? If I were you, and paying for a small wedding ourseleves with no bridal party - I would probably just walk in by ourseleves. A beautiful day sounds great! :-)
