Entrance Songs (Reception)

We finalized our songs with the DJ tonight. Decided on good ole' Barry White for our entrance song.... First, Last, My Everything. With some kind of groovy mix for the bridal party and parents. Sounded great!

What is everyone else doing?

we used the gary glitter song, the one they play at the hockey games when someone scores a goal....DH is a big hockey fan.....I would definitely recommend specifying though - we told our DJ whatever he thought sounded good for the bridal party entrance and he used 'legs' or something, we didn't like it at all, but that's what you get for not specifying!!

We use Lets get Loud by JLO for the BP and Everlasting Love for our grand entrance.

We're not sure what we're using for our entrance song, but we're going to use the Imperial March from Star Wars for the bridal party, because Fh wants to. (LOL).

Kris - I'm planning on using that Barry White song too and Big Hits is my DJ!!! When we met with Jerry, he played that song and I couldn't stop bopping around all night. I told him that I absolutely have to have that song. Is Jerry doing your wedding? I can't wait to read your review. They are going to be so great!

We're using the Imperial March for us !! We're using the Star Wars theme for the BP! FI is a mega-fan and he has been so good about everything else, I wanted to do this for him.

Glad to hear we're not the only ones!!!!

We used 'Let My Love Open the Door' by Pete Townsend - Everyone loved it including the DJ!

We used 'Lets Get the Party Started' by Pink for the BP enterance. And 'Beautiful Day' for our enterance.

We used We Like to Party by the Venga Boys for the BP and Gimme Some Lovin' by the Spencer Davis Group. Everyone loved both.

jpsgirl, OMG we are using the same entrance song. FH is a huge hockey fan also. Me too.I think its a great song to walk in with.

I don't like the Gary Glitter song only because he is a convicted pedophile, FH doesn't like 'Beautiful Day' by U2, so I've been wracking my brains to come up with an alternative! Any others besides Barry White? And what is that Spencer Davis Group song?

I let my FH choose, So the BP is coming into 'O Fortuna' by Carmina Burana... And we are coming up from the floor to 'Heaven' by DJ Sammy..
