Okay I got her Microsoft Word to work. Now this may be a dumb question but when I address the envelope, if a couple lives together do I put both their names on the envelope. For instance, my friend lives with her girlfriend, should I put both their first and last names on the envelope?

Yes put Ms., change the font to be half-size smaller...
And why would the printer cut off the last line? Are you using the labels template?

Re: Envelope Addressing Question
I was using the envelopes template. Im printing the addresses directly on the envelope. Should I still use the labels template?

No, hmmmmmm. That's weird though... It's not like there's no room on the envelope.
I'm not very familiar with word though, just the labels part.
How many lines do you have? Do they only allow for four lines and you have five?
Can you just make the font size smaller to fit?
ETA: I know snowflake08 printed directly onto the envelopes, maybe FM her?

Re: Envelope Addressing Question
It was weird cause I put the envelope size in at 7.5 by 7.5 The address Im putting is 4 lines. And the whole thing prints if I put the address all the way on the bottom but when I fix it so the address is in the middle it gets cut off. Theres plenty of room though. My friend is supposed to be an expert with this stuff and she's coming over. This is aggravating.

Re: Envelope Addressing Question
i printed my own too...
You can change the margins....
hit 'options' under the 'envelopes and Labels' window
The under the 'delivery Address' part, you'll see 'from Left' and 'from top'.
Just keep playing around with numbers in those two until the address is places where you want it.
We did a LOT of test trials with pieces of paper cut to our envelope size. And then once you figure out the right numbers, you have to remember to enter it in each time you print an envelope.
It's really annoying, but it was the only way we could figure out to do it. (ours kept printing all the way on the bottom with the default setting)

Re: Envelope Addressing Question
Im petty sure you put them in alphabetical order
Ms. Mary Jones Ms. Jane Smith regardless of which is the closer prson to you.
but if they are not a couple and just roomates, then they get seperate invites.
