envelope stuffing question

Do you put the response cards inside the envelopes when stuffing your invitations?
I can't believe we're planning on getting them together tomorrow and mailing them out on Monday

i thought you put the response card in the top part of that the envelope flap that they send back?

ETA: so that they sit ontop of each other - like the way you hold a card when you buy it at the store.
Maybe that doesnt make sense?

This is what I did and we just sent them out yesterday and people called us today and said that they received them...so exciting!!

if you have direction and hotel cards where do they go?
