Envelope wording when kids are invited?

Envelope wording when kids are invited?

I have a pocketfold type invitation so my only inner envelope is the RSVP envelope, which will be addressed to me.

So my question is, how do I let certain families know that their kids are invited? Do I address the outer envelope to Mr & Mrs.... and family? or do I list the kids names?
I haven't a clue.

I would address the outside as 'and Family'

I have two where the kids are invited....one is my FSIL since her kids are the RBs and FG, and a close family friends whose youngest is in 8th grade....for them I worded it 'The ______ Family'

That's usually how we recieved invites, I always got invited along with my parents. The ______ Family is how the invites came addressed. And on the inner envelop it was my parents name and then my name on the next line.
