envelopes

how many of you are actually spelling out the states?

What about numbered streets (like 74th Street)?

Apartment or Apt???

Re: envelopes

I spelled out the states and the word apartment. The only time I spelled out a house number was for the numbers 1 through 20, and in multiples of 10 from 20 to 100. (So, for 20, 30, 40, etc)... I did not spell out any numbers if the street is a # (like your example of 74th St...I had '74th Street' printed)

Find out from the Post Office if they'll have trouble delivering them if you spell out the street names when they're numbers before you go to the trouble. I've heard of people having invites not delivered because the PO messes up the street since they have it as a number not a word.

Re: envelopes

i am worried about the PO and about my hand or printer (depending on what I end up doing for this part!!!)

I forgot about the house numbers if they are less than 20...

I guess the state being written out shouldn't matter so long as the zip is right (in terms of the PO)
