Envelopes

Do you need to address the inner envelopes? I am not sure that I need to because it will be clear who is invited on the outer envelope..but I want to do things that are customary.

TIA

Envelopes

I think traditionally, only the outer envelope has the full address (names, street, etc.). The inner envelope usually just has the names reiterated. Depending on the formality, you could put either 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' or just 'John and Jane'.
