eparty

so i have to get an eparty together pretty soon cause my FH is leaving july 20th for the summer.. and then he will be getting deployed to kuwaitt in sept or oct. we both really wanted to have a party before he left... i dont really have to much money so we are thinking of throwing it at this cute private beach by my house. it has tables and stuff and i figured i would rent a few more. i want to do a luau theme cause i thought that would be really cute.... what do we think?? does my idea sound ok. and if i plan it for end of june. begining of july do i have enough time to send out invites??

You will def. have enough time if you start planning now! I know oriental trading has alot of luau stuff really cheap!!

As far as invitations, you really only need to send them out at least a month before the party. So it is def. doable! I know AC Moore and Target have really cheap engagement invitations.

I think that a luau is a great idea, they are so much fun! My cousin is having a luau for her e-party and she has found alot of great things for it. She is on this site, her name is FutureMrs.T, if you have any questions or want a few ideas feel free to ask her, she is very nice and super helpful!

And i think you have plenty of time to send out invitations, my e-party is in the begining of june and i sent my invitations out last week lol. If you are still looking for invitations here is a website i found that has very cute invitations and matching envelopes that are pretty inexpensive if you print them up yourself. Hope this helps

We're doing a luau party too!! We are getting a lot of the decorations from Oriental trading, they have a lot of cool stuff for good prices. I found it really hard to find invites I liked so I made my own on vistaprints.com. The price was right and they came out really cute. I have a pic in my album if you want to check them out.
