Eparty help! please!

Eparty help! please!

I was planning on having my E-party in a family members backyard. My FH and I have decided this may not be the best idea for some unfortunate reasons.

So, Any idea of Nassau County places more like halls
(dancing & informal) that are reasonably priced?

I would like more of a cocktail party, not a sit down dinner.
maybe like an open bar, and I can supply finger foods.

Thanks!

I do not know any specific ones but try Knights of Columbus or VFW halls..I did a party at one is Queens and it was really reasonable

2010'er crashing but check out

1) The Metropolitan in Glen Cove, great smaller room downstairs called 'The Club'

2) Sans Souci in Sea Cliff- had eparty there, pics in album

3) Westbury Manor has smaller rooms and the food and service is great.

Amity Harbor Beach & Civic Association--- it's not in Nassau, but just over the border

This was going to be my suggestion as well... whenever anyone in my family had a bday party or w/e, this is how we did it because no one had a house large enough to hold my mom's 8 brothers and sisters, spouses and average of 3-4 children per couple. You can decorate it yourself and do exactly what you said with the finger foods (or have it catered buffet style by some Italian place... or deli heroes or something to that effect) and ask a family member to play DJ... ipod and a stereo! Thos places are blank slates so you can do whatever you want. GL!
