ok so i have a lilttle dilema ... we are looking to have our eparty over the summer ... it will most likely be at least 50+ people (my FH has a big immediate family). We were thinking of just doing a backyard deal with tent etc. but I'm afraid of rain and kids and grandparents -
any ideas of restaurants? small halls in nassau or western suffolk? we are looking to keep the $$ as low as possible but understand with that amount of people, it will cost money to do right!!
any ideas girls?

Re: eparty locations in nassau .. help?
I am having it at eisenhower park. Its $150 to rent the spot and you get it for the whole day!!!
$100 for the spot ( small spot fits about 100 people! $15 for the leisure pass ( good for 3 years and if you are gonna have alcohol its a $35 permit!
the only problem is....its rain or shine so if it rains and you dont go you lose your $$ if it does rain we r just gonna put up tents!
hope this helped

lol i didnt read the whole post before i replied lol
Knight of columbus rents the halls for about $500 for 4 hours. Thats just for the hall you have to bring all the food and alcohol, you can try them...or vfw halls
if you belng to a church some of them rent out their room if they have it. but usually they dont allow alcohol

try plattdeutche park restaurant. they are a catering hall so they have nice rooms. they even do weddings. but the price for a regular party is like in the 20's-30's per head.

La Piazza in merrick. Look into restaurants. That is where I am having mine and I have 70 people coming. Most are about 35 - 45 ahead.

What about the Milleridge Inn - we had my dad's retirement party in one of the smaller rooms and it was great - also the decor is very nice too!
Or even The Irish Coffee Shop (House - not sure of name)?

i had mine at a Catholic Memorial Veterans Hall in bethpage.
it was 33$ per head for buffet of 7 choices and and an open bar...
you have the option of having place settings or not...
it was a good time and a nice place..you can see some pics in my album under eparty.
