So now that we have booked our photographer, we want to do epics asap because we want fall leave color changes in our pics. So two questions, when are the colors the best on LI? AND I need help with a location. I'm from Queens and we want to do our pics on LI. In a park, preferably that has some good backgrounds for pics (ie a little bridge, rocks, benches, etc). Any suggestions? TIA!!!

Re: EPic help
Hello,
I just googled fall foliage in Long Island. Here's the answer.
NYC & Long Island: fall foliage foliage peak last week in October and first week in November.
I'm from Brooklyn, so I don't know any parks in Long Island. Hopefully, one of the LI ladies can assist you with that part of the question.
Congratulations.

Re: EPic help
First and second week of November is the best time around here. Especially because we've had warm Summer nights this month.
Belmont Lake State Park has TONS of trees. Avalon Park is in Stonybrook, it's unique and has good foliage. Bayard Cutting arboretum is HUGE and right on the river.
I don't know too many locations in Nassau Eisenhower Park?
If you are in Queens, would you consider Manhattan?
The Cloisters in Fort Tyron Park are very beautiful.
