Epics ?

I thought it was going to be weird too, but Tom (from Thomas Paul) made us feel so comfortable.. we where just talking and walking around and any giving minute he said something like stop for a minute and smile and he will take a pic... FH was a great player but I think it was more because our photographer was great to work with... My only recommendation is not to bring stuff (like your purse and stuff in your hand you would not need for the pictures) beause you are walking and you than can find where to put them (specially if is like in the beach or a park). Also try to wear something comfortable that you dont feel like you need to fix or check before each picture.
In general dont worry everything is going to be great and is great practice for the wedding

the first few shots you might feel a bit awkward, not too badly though. Just at first you are trying to get comfortable...but within 5 minutes you will be completely fine. Our photographer told us how to pose, how to even position our hands and what to do with our faces so it helped. The more shots she took the more you get comfortable and then you'll just have alot of fun with it. We didnt want it to end, and i was surprised as to how much fun we really did have. She was very laid back and didnt bark instructions at us so it was great working with her.

Its funny bc Dh gets weird when you take pics of him and he wasnt really looking forward to it and was awkward in the beginning and he loved it too. The other day he shocked me by saying, are we doing day after pics? i said no we did e-pics, and he was upset bc he said he wants to do pics lol

You'll be fine and just have confidence in your photographer to make you feel relaxed. I guarantee you'll have so much fun

Thats so great to hear because TP is our photographer too!!! I'm going to have FH hold my lip gloss in his pocket in case I need a touch-up but other than that, I'm not bringing anything..

Am I crazy for wanting to being an extra outfit?

See, I hope our photographer gives us some sort of direction, because I don't want every pic to look the same, ya know? I want him to kinda use his experience and show us what to do to make us come out good in pics...I'm always a little worried its going to look off since FH is like a whole foot taller than me..

And it's so funny that you said that about your hubby...because FH ALWAYSSS ALWAYSSS makes weird face when you tell him your going to take a pic of him, his forehead like wrinkles or something and its always ruining pics lolz..but if you just take a pic of him without him knowing, he's so photogenic! lolzz

I love your epics..I remember when I first came on the boards I didn't even know they exsisted yet and yours really stood out to me and made me want to take some!

we had our in studio pics last week and fh thought the same thing but after a few minutes he was fine..our photographer had us laughing the entire time and made the both of us feel so comfortable...my tip to u is just make sure that u and ur photographer have a good vibe/chemistry and u both will do great...............good luck

I refuse to smile because I don;t like my teeth lolz, so no fake smiles here My fear is comin out looking like I'm mad in all the pics lolz..my mom calls them my 'mugshot' pics..

It did feel a bit weird, especially since we were walking around a packed Grand Central Station with people looking at us and probably wondering why there was a guy following us snapping pics. I relaxed into it pretty easily but FH was uneasy the whole time. Our photog did a lot to relax him though (ie told jokes and such).

Yea, I think its def normal to feel weird about it at first, but I hope I'm able to ease into it...I really want some great pics of us and I hope our nervousness doesn't get the best of it..I just want to have fun with it

Okay... first I have not taken epics yet so I'm not an authority. Ive been in several weddings where pics are taken non stop and it just starts to feel natural. Plus you love fh so the camera will pick up on that.

I'm actually hoping to do epics with Angelica Glass - strangely enough we went to school together years ago so I feel like it would make it feel more natural for me.

Dont worry though - you're both so adorable looking... you're guaranteed to have gorgeous pictures!

Ok, so out of nowhere yesterday FH says 'It's going to be weird taking epics, like posing for the camera' and all of a sudden I thought of it and it IS going to be weird..so my question is for you girls who took them...how weird is it? lolz. As much as I LOVEEEEEEEEEE pics I'm REALLY camera shy...any tips?

This is a really good question! I was thinking the same thing. FH isn't really a camera person and I thought it would feel wierd to pose too, I know the 2 of us will be cracking up the whole time.
