So I'm trying to figure out my timing for my epix at the end of the month.
I'm having my pictures taken on Roosevelt Island (for anyone who doesnt know its a small island in between manhattan & queens) at 3PM.
So far I know I'm using Oksana for makeup (just trying to figure out a time. Would 1PM give me enough time? Or should I do 12:30?
That being said, what time should I schedule my hair? And also, WHERE should I schedule my hair?
I live in Nassau. Oksana is in Fresh Meadows, and the epics are on Roosevelt Island. Where would be the best place to get my hair done? And what time should I schedule it for?

Did you ask Oksana about it? When I scheduled my trial, I told my hair/makeup person what time I'd be taking epics, and she told me to come two hours before. Also, the place I'm taking epics is three minutes away from her house.
So, I'd say factor in the time for hair and makeup about two hours, and the travel time to get to the location.

I guess if I'm getting my epics at 3PM, just count back from there, including 2 hrs for hair, 2 hours for makeup, +travel time?

fresh meadows is not far from roosevelt island and at that time if you take the Grand central shouldn't really be traffic so wont take long. If you want you can get hair done in forest hills or astoria, both are on the way to roosevelt island. Astoria however is like 5 mins away so maybe easier in case you are running late with hair. Plus you get there locally from astoria so you wont deal with traffic

I was considering astoria since its literally like 5 mins from the epics/fh's. i can go there, and then go to get my makeup done. i wasnt sure how far fresh meadows was from astoria...even though im in queens all the time, im lost when it comes to direction.
