So my Photographer recommended doing our epics at the Nassau County Art Museum where there is a garden with sculptures and the cherry blossoms will be blooming soon.
My fashion sense is not very good so... Do you have any recommendations on what we should wear? I see a lot of people do beach type pics with jeans and nice white shirts would this go? I was also thinking I could wear a sundress and my FH in kackies and a polo?? Are there certain colors I should steer clear from?

I'd try my best to stay in solid colors, and figure out which colors look best on you and FH. I wore a red sweater with black pants, and FH wore a dark gray sweater with black pants in ours. Whatever you do, wear something you're comfortable in. If you don't, it'll definitely show in the pics

I would steer clear from wearing gray because it just seems soooo blah. If you check my e-pics album we wore predominantly red because I knew our wedding colors were going to be gold and red...so maybe you can incorporate your wedding colors to your epics?
The art museum has a very modern feel to so maybe you want to go with a basic jean, colored pumps and a cute top...or a sundress is cute too. Anthropologie is right by that museum and has soooo many adorable outfits!

Actually a friend of mine and her now DH wore dark gray sweaters and jeans to their epics, and they came out great. (I would have thought that it would have washed them out too, but it didn't). The photographer told her that they should try to match, or even wear the same colors if they'd like. The other tip was to not wear so much jewelry so your ering can really stand out in the photos. I think as long as the two of you agree on a style (jeans and sweaters, or a dress and a blaizer, etc) you will look great. I would ask how you normally dress and let that dictate the type of clothes that you wear. Can't wait to see how they turn out!

The jeans with gray may go well b/c the cherry blossoms would be pink and white. I'm gonna have to 'drag' my FH shopping for clothes now

blue looks nice too, thats the color we did and it really stood out in the pics!
