ONe of my girlfriends is trying to conceive and because epilepsy has been a touchy subject for her, I am waiting for her to come to me. I don't want to be intrusive or say the wrong thing. I know that she is preparing for her pregnancy and whatever she is doing ...she looks great!!! I was worried about her because (prior to her trying to conceive) she was always tired all the time. I am guessing that she seeking the advice from her doctor because she's been working out, watching her diet and her energy level is soooo high now. I am so happy for her and my prayers go out to her. Good luck to you! Sorry, I wasn't very informative but I wanted you know that you are not the only one dealing with TTC.

We are not trying yet. I have had epilepsy for about 7-8 years. It is controlled with meds, but if I want to TTC I have to change my meds and I am immediately put into high risk. I was also told I may have a problem concieving. I am terrified. I don't like having epilepsy and scares me so much.

DH and I just started to discuss children serously and now I need to prepare my body for it. It will probably be a good year before we can actually try.
