Epiphany about FMIL

After all of the ranting I've heard and after all of the second guessing on her part it hit me last night when I was talking to my dad: she's crazy - literally. Crazy & paranoid.

She questioned an appointment I had last night because she thought I was doing something wedding-related without her. She questioned my bridal shower (which is back on by the way - yay!) because she feels left out of the planning.

To that end, I've come to realize that she's just plain ol' paranoid. And I have learned to now laugh at it.

You only realized she's crazy now? I'm glad to hear your shower is back on. You shouldn't have been put through that crap in the first place.

Sad thing is, in her mind she probably thinks she's doing the right thing when she's really driving you nuts!

Yeah - between the hard time she's given my dad and Randi (dad's g-friend, helping with planning), the yelling at ALL of the vendors, etc. she definately does not think she's done anything wrong....my family just has a completely different mentality. She thinks that if she yells long enough, she'll get her way. Sadly, she usually does.

It doesn't make it right...but it DOES make me laugh. Finally...i've learned something.
