Erga... I was surprised

I heard they were just so so....
By brother went and he said the same thing.. he got cakes from there but we didn't eat when he got it we ate a few days later
My husband and I went there this past week... (We went to Long Island to Ikea)
the place was really clean and the staff was super nice...

I just told them I am getting married and that my hall was using them to make my cake...

She didn't ask my name or where I was getting married she asked me what I wanted to taste and I asked if she had chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse and fresh strawberries...

They made me 2 slices on the spot and they were BIG....

I asked how much and she said it was complimentry...

I was so impressed that I bought a cake.....

A napolean cake....

Guess what I was kicking myself why I didnt buy 2....... ( We live far from them, we live in Manhattan)

It was the best cake I ever ate....

I know it is not traditional wedding cake but... I decided that is going to be my wedding cake...

I learned my lesson it is good to take advice but it is best to test it myself before I make a decision...


Just thought I would share...

This is a huge relief... because I was planning on getting another cake from an outside vendor,,,,,,

The cake is included in the price Yipppee..

So ladies that are using a hall using Erga dont take my word for it... go check them out yourselves...

Cascone in Whitestone is the only other place I love......

i hafta agree.
i went there in person and they were fabulous. i gave them pics of what i wanted and even though we thought it would cost a lot more they said 'no extra charge' i almost fainted.

they were really nice and their cookies are YUMMY too.

What cake did you ask for.... that they said no extra charge....
You mean the design or fillings...
