i thought i was a size 5 ring but i guess i was wrong b/c my Ering was too big and was sliding around on my finger.
so i got a ring guard which i had on my ring for about 4 months but i HATED it!!
i was going to get the ball things but my FSIL told me that i wouldn't be happy w that either.
for some reason i was nervous to have it resized...i don't know why...but she talked me into doing it and IT LOOKS GREAT!!
i'm so happy this is the first time since i got it in july that my ring fits me!!! i feel like it's new all over again!
so the point for this post is in case anyone feels the way i did about not wanting to get it resized...i might be the only one who was being weird about it...but if anyone is upset about it, don't be...it's so much nicer for it to actually FIT!!

I had the same issue, I lost some weight and my size finger dropped...so when FH took one of my rings and cleverly traced it on a piece of paper ( he is so smart..lol) it was the bigger size.
I was nervouse too, but I got the balls put on. My jewler doesnt want to mess around with the ring to much because then the pave moves and the stones might losen.
He said if I am super uncomfortable, he will resize it.
It isnt really uncomfortable, I was suprised.

i got mine resized too...at first i was afraid that it would ruin the integrity of the design...but i had nothing to worry about either!!

I had to have mine resized too, at first i was measured at a 4 1/2 but i went down to a 4, which is still a little big, but in summer it will be fine.. No big deal, I stayed there and watched them do it because i would've been nervous to leave it there.

i wanted my e-ring to be 6.5 and its actually 6.75
so i really need to get it resized im thinking even 6.25 i should go down to.
how long did it take
i hate how my ring rolls around somtimes especially when its cold out

That's good to know. I'm still using the ring guard but I plan on taking it tin to have it sized soon.

I had mine resized too but I didn't have a choice it was just ridiculously large. They resized it and put balls in it and it's still a little big but due to my obscenely large knuckles i know the ring isn't going anywhere. I have to re-resize it before the wedding because I have to make it bigger to fit on my right hand so I can wear my wedding band on my left. Who know getting married can be such a PIA? Anyway, glad your ring fits now!

I didnt want to get it resized but the first night i had it i lost it in my bedroom when i was getitng changed so i freaked out LOL so i went to the roosevelt field mall to get a ring guard or something cause i didnt want to get it sized and have someone take it from me for awhile when i just got it..anyways i ended up finding out about this place called jewlery fast fix (its by the food court on the 2nd floor i think) and they sized it right then in there...in a hlaf hour i went home with a ring that fit MUCH better

thats awesome..my ring always slides around on my finger..but im afraid to resize it because it doesn't slide easily over my knuckle, and in the summer my hands swell

it only took 20 minutes!! he asked if i wanted to leave it, but my fsil told me to never leave it with anyone, so i told him i'd stay and he did it right away.
yeah mine used to roll all around my finger esp when it was cold. now it stays perfectly in place!!

glad that it's a perfect fit now! i got another ring i have resized recently, was nervous because the band is all pave diamonds and i didn't want them to get lose, but it's a big cocktail ring and being loose, it would flop around and not look nice - i watched the guy fix it (kind of amazing) and am soooo happy i did it!
