So yesterday we threw my sisters baby shower!! and for some reason the topic of conversation last nite was when im going to have a baby apparently my mom is running around telling people we are going to start trying on our honeymoon,(which is not happening) so all nite everyone is saying your next and telling me all these old wives tales to help me conceive then 3 different family member proceed to spill the beans over when my shower is ! so now i know the date, time and place and one of the idiots was my mom!! so im totally annoyed and feel so bad for my sister and the nite got ruined with stupidity!!!!

Yikes!!!! Talk about inappropriate pressure... when people ask me questions about things like that, I always just say something like 'we're just going to enjoy being married and see what happens' and usually people leave me alone after that.
I feel bad that your sister's attention was diverted, but I'm sure she has more exciting things to think about, like the lovely shower you threw for her!!!! Don't let the gossip and talk distract you from the good time you had. Soon you'll also have a new niece or nephew to pay attention to and all of their chirping will be behind you.

When I get a stupid or uncomfortable question I answer it with an equally stupid or uncomfy question.. But that's just me...

I thin that you can just deflect questions about baby stuff.
Gee! I dont understand how people can just jump to conclusions.....you get married you JUST want to have a baby right away. Or you HAVE to.
