Does each person get their own escort card- ie one for Janet Smith and one for John Smith or is it okay to do one card for both that says Mr and Mrs John Smith Table 1? I am ordering placecard holders and need to know how many to order. TIA!!

one per family, as long as they're all sitting at the same table.
if John & Jane Doe bring their 2 kids who will be at the 'kids table', then you need one for the parents, and one per child (3 total)

one card Mr and Mrs Smith is what I'm doing. I'm not having kids, but at our eparty we said Mr and Mrs Smith and Family.

we are doing 1 per couple.
If it's a married couple it will say 'Mr & Mrs. John Smith'
