Escort card/frame opinion

I really wanted to do photo booth frames as my escort/seating cards. I've seen them done on Pinterest using the T shaped or L shaped frames. These are basically 2x6 frames that stand up tall or slightly slanted. Then I found these cute magnetic ones on a site. I feel like the magnetic frames may get more use than a stand up frame. But, I think the flat magnetic frames may not look right displayed on the table as an escort card. I hope I'm making sense, lol. The seating table at the bridgeview is round and I'm just not sure if laying flat frames on the table will look right. Any opinions? As a guest, would you rather get a magnetic frame or a stand up desk frame?

we got T-style frames, but I decided last min to just print a generic 'use this frame to hold your photostrip' insert rather than do placecards because I wanted to do a seating chart... I definitely think t-style is the way to go, and buybulkdisplays.com had the best prices of any other site I found. And the frames came perfectly and were all separately packaged so they didn't get damaged during shipment..

if you end up not using them for placecards, then you can do the magnetic ones and lay each one on everyone's plate at the reception

Yes that's the site I was looking at! Def the cheapest I've found. And I was thinking about placing them on the plates. But I thought using them as place cards was so cute. I just wasn't sure if people would rather the magnetic frame over the T frame.

I know that my fridge and my sister's fridge are stainless steel and not magnetic lol, so that's something to keep in mind... alot of fridges are not magnetic anymore

I, personally, would prefer the stand up frame. I have a stainless fridge also, and only the side of it is metal to hold magnets and it's so crowded, I would def prefer the standing frame. And I LOVE the idea of using the frames as the escort cards. I was going to do that before we nixed the photobooth.

I am doing the magnetic frames as my escort cards and was planning on using a magnetic board to display them with. If you do not like that idea I also thought of extending the paper out and have the paper folded like a card and hold them up that way. hope that helps.
